Do I need to file a Business Ownership Information Report (“BOIR”)?

The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) went into effect January 1, 2024.

However, as of March 26, 2025, the FINCEN Business Ownership Information reporting is limited to Foreign Reporting Entities. Currently U.S. Entities are Exempted.
